Glider Reviews

Moxie PWR
The Moxie is the ultimate "first flight" beginner glider. It is exceptionally safe, stable, and docile. I appreciate its easy inflation and efficiency. This is the glider you want to take your first flights on.
Mojo PWR 2
The Mojo is a staple beginner glider. Compared to the Moxie, it has slightly better handling while maintaining beginner friendly safety. It is a great choice for first flights or pilots seeking a safe option to get up and see the world from above.
Spyder 3
The Spyder is possibly the most versatile glider in Ozone's lineup. It is beginner friendly enough to be your first glider out of training. An easy transition from a Moxie or Mojo. Simultaneously, its reflex profile, trim range, and tip steering make it advanced enough to be some pilots forever glider. The lightweight fabric on the Spyder makes zero wind inflations feel like cheating.
The Roadster 3 is the normal weight version of the Spyder 3. I recommend this option to pilots who fly from rough terrain or rarely encounter zero wind inflations.
Speedster 3
The Speedster is an exceptional intermediate XC glider. Its long trims, efficient profile, lack of oscillations, and passive safety make it ideal for comfortable long distance flights. With the optional 2D steering and playful handling, it makes an excellent forever glider for pilots not wanting to commit to the risks of a full slalom glider.
The Sirocco 3 is the lightweight version of the Speedster 3. I recommend this option to pilots who value easy inflations and take good care of their gear.
Freeride 2
The Freeride is my absolute favorite advanced glider. While it is tuned for slalom racing, the Freeride is an incredibly fun freestyle glider. Its fast roll rate, quick top speed, razor sharp handling, and powerful flare are sure to satisfy the most experienced pilots.
Viper XC
The Viper XC is the ultimate advanced XC glider. It is incredibly efficient, super stable, and fast. If I were to go back in time, this is the glider I would have flown on the Icarus race. It inspires confidence in turbulence and sips fuel.
Viper 6
The Viper 6 feels like a Viper XC "Pro." This glider is very similar to the XC but a little more efficient and a little more playful. The biggest notable difference is the use of a new super lightweight fabric. This is the easiest inflating glider ever.
Triox 2
The Triox is a purpose built tandem trike glider. It feels something like a tandem version of a Speedster. It is a fast glider that requires adequate power when loaded heavy. It makes tandems easy as it is very stable and allows you to cover long distances.
Roadrunner
The Roadrunner is specifically designed for kiting. It is not flight rated and only 14sqm. It handles similar to a full sized glider but does not have as much lift. This allows you to kite in much stronger conditions. It is great for students that want to learn kiting or for experienced pilots to keep their skills honed without aging their main glider.
